Job Description:

Entertain and serve food and beverages to patrons in restaurant and nightclub environments.

Duties:

• Have fun and entertain customers
• Greet and escort customers to their table
• Inform customers of daily specials and take food and beverage orders
• Serve food and/or beverages to customers
• Enter customer orders into system for transmittal to bar and kitchen
• Present menus and explain how menu items are prepared and the ingredients used to prepare them.
• Check with customers to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
• Collect payment from customers
• Clean waitress area including flyer area, counters, around computer, walls, soda fountain, ashtrays, foyer, etc.
• Stock waitress/service areas with supplies such as forks, napkins, to-go cups, etc.
• Fill condiments including, but not limited to salt, pepper, ketchup, hot sauce
• Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters
• Check identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
• Clean bathrooms including mirrors, toilet, sink, floors, empty trash, empty sanitary napkin container
• Stock bathrooms including trash bags, soap toilet paper and hand towels
• Cleans and arranges assigned station, including chairs, tables, and table pieces (ie linen, silverware, glassware etc)
• Assists with banquet and buffet set-up and break-down

• Sales—Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling our products and services.
• Legal—Knowledge of laws, legal codes and government regulations surrounding the sale of alcoholic beverages

DaBomb server "carries the message" to all of our guests. You must project a positive, energetic attitude and have complete knowledge of the menu, liquor, and promotions. Excellent service, a sharp appearance, and total dedication to our guests’ satisfaction are required. DaBomb server is a team player who does what it takes to get the job done.

The primary duties and responsibilities are:

1. Provide the highest levels of professionalism and enthusiasm toward the guest and your fellow team members.
2. Adhere to the policies and procedures of DaBomb.
3. Assist fellow team members in the performance of their responsibilities when and where necessary.
4. Maintain high levels of sanitation and safety in the workplace.
5. Know the location of all your necessary products and supplies.
6. Complete all assigned opening and closing tasks pertinent to the server position.
7. Complete familiarity with all menu items, preparations and presentations.
8. Complete familiarity with liquor selections, pricing and preparation.
9. Complete knowledge of use and care of the NextPOS system.
10. Understand all promotions and specials.
11. Understand all cash handling procedures and cash payment methods.
12. Notify a manager in the event of or perception of a problem.
13. Physical requirements: You must be able to lift up to 40lbs and remain on your feet for up to 12 hours.
14. You must be able to work all holidays.
15. Prevent ambush marketing.
16. Keep the dining and service area clean and organized at all times. This includes the soda fountain, food staging area, VIP, windows, walls, floor, wood surfaces, and bathrooms.
